Today Gwen (as usual) wanted to be a big girl and followed them around constantly. The older girls spent a long time balancing on the boards around our mulch/swingset area. Gwen tried and tried to do it too and kept falling. These two cute girls decided to stop what they were doing and help her along. I think that some of the best things in life are the moments when your children play seemlessly together.
Liv is starting to show a few signs of sass. Is there something about being 4 that makes you that way? I can't figure out what the culprit is. My mom always says we should be happy when our kids have a mind of their own. I agree, but in reality it can be a bit frustrating sometimes =0). Liv also has been saying FUNNY, very grown up phrases like, "Come on mom, just give it your best shot!" Sometimes it amazes me that I am a mom, and it is my job to teach these kiddos to become polite, adults who want to be good people. I definitely do not feel qualified. Having fun with them I can do, and cuddling with them....I can do that too, but disciplining??.....I don't know how effective I am in that area.

I love those pictures! I soooooo hope my girls will want to be best friends forever, and they'll let their mom come along too :)
Ahhh, 4-yr-old independence. Gotta love it, gotta not love it! When you find the secret to perfect discipline, let me know! Fun, colorful pictures!
WHat a cute moment to catch in photo.
Love the cute picture of your girls. What a fun relaxing day you had, love days like that.
