The Aliens have landed!
I have had many requests for more explanation on these pictures. We went over to Bridgette and Gary's house and had a blast playing around with their Mac. They have this program called Photobooth. We laughed and laughed as we distorted our faces.

Well Rested

Oh, I feel so rested I can't even tell you how wonderful it feels to get a full nights sleep. Last night was the first night, since my pregnancy with Gwen, that I slept all the way through the night without waking up until morning!! YEAH! I had forgotten what it was like to feel so rested. Thank you Liv and Gwen. I feel like a new woman!

Happy Valentines Day
I have decided that Fondue is going to be our Valentine's Day tradition. We found a couple of awesome recipes and indulged. YUMMY!
As it usually happens with good food, no one left hungry.
Brewer Winter Fest

Brewer Winter Fest was this weekend. We started off the morning at the French Toast Breakfast, and were sad to miss the afternoon activities, especially the free acupuncture! We did, however, make it to see the ice sculptures in the evening.

5 Happy Years

Brad and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on the 16th. We had a great day. We dropped the girls off at a friends house and went snowshoeing. It was a totally different experience just the 2 of us. We followed some tracks,
Had races, and made a shelter from the wind.
Raising My Blood Pressure
Poor Liv had a little accident. She tripped and hit her tooth on a door frame. Her tooth is pushed back a little (as you can see) and the tissue is really bruised. Brad says that it will might turn gray, and may or may not turn white again. And in the end, it might fall out. Only time will tell. She actually took out a chunk of wood from the door frame. And she was such a little trooper. She cried hard at first (as you can imagine), but calmed down very quickly and just sat in my lap as we waited for her Pugga (Brad's dad) to come and check it out. (Brad was working at the time.) She was so patient and cooperative as he checked it over. What a sweet little girl.
It still makes my heart race, just thinking about it.
Matching DressesHere is a picture of the girls in their first matching dresses. I hope there are many more to come.
Nora LouHere is Cousin Nora. She came over to play. We loved the opportunity to bond. Come over to play again soon!

Luke Spencer
Luke Spencer has arrived. He's such a cute little guy. I think he might actually look like Kari! Welcome to the family Luke. We are so excited to finally see your handsome little face. And Liv is thrilled to have a new little cousin.

The World is My CanvasAfter drawing all over Gwen's face, Liv ran to find me, saying, "Mommy I show you." She was so proud of her work. Gwen was very compliant through the whole thing, she never made a peep.
Snowshoeing, Sledding and Snow Angels
We took the girls out again to enjoy the snow and our snowshoes. Liv especially loved this trip because, after we hiked up the trail, she got to sled down it with her daddy.

Brad made possibly the best snow angel I've seen. What talent.
Wake up call
I put Gwen down for a nap in her room, convinced Liv to play quietly in her room, and then took a nice warm shower. As I turned off the water, I could hear Liv singing Twinkle, Twinkle little star, and Gwen cooing. Both from the nursery. Although Gwen was totally off of her schedule for the rest of the morning, and I am hoping this doesn't become the norm, I had to live by the motto of, if you can laugh about it tomorrow, why not laugh today. Besides, what a sweet moment!

Red Barret
Gwen looked so cute in this red barret. How is it that babies can look a little bit funny and oh so cute all at the same time.
Our little artist
Liv and I were making some pen pal letters to send to her cousins, and on the last page I had her draw her self portrait. I had no idea she could actually draw one. She picked up the orange marker and drew a big circle for the head, and then proceeded to give herself long curly hair, a squiggly smile eyes, irises in the eyes, eyebrows, nose and ears, she even gave some glasses, one was even praying. I was so impressed. What a little artist.
Here is her renditions of herself, mommy and daddy

Elise Madeline
Beautiful Elise Madeline was born on Sunday January 28th. She is baby number four for my oldest sister Angi. My other sister Kari is due to have her little boy in a week! That will be lucky number 13 for my parents. Elise was tiny, weighing in at 6 lbs 2 oz. and she sucks her thumb! I can't wait to see her. It is especially at times like these when I really, really, really wish I lived closer.
Discovery Museum
We got a membership to the children's discovery museum. It has been especially great on winter days when we are not in the mood to be cold. Yesterday we went as a family and had a great time chasing after Liv. Here are the pictures.

1-2-3 Roll!!

February 1, 2007, 1 week shy of her 5 month birthday, Gwen rolled over. She kept looking over her shoulder, and almost losing her balance, so I quickly grabbed our camera, and here are the pictures.

Tea PartyIt is so fun to watch the girls play now. Both parties actually enjoy it! Liv loves Gwen so much and is learning to be such a good big sister. Gwen thinks Liv is awesome. Liv can make her smile with the best of them. Here is one of their favorite activities. Liv serves Gwen pizza, and pours her a drink from her tea pot, and then feeds her, and tells her how she is such a big girl. Liv even tells Gwen to be careful and not throw her food on the floor. I wonder where she learned that from?
We took Liv to her first UMaine Hockey game. We had a great time with her.

She loved the popcorn.

As you can see!

Yeah Maine won!
