Brad and I agree that this was our funnest family outing. It was a great day that's sole purpose was to play with our girls. Story Land is a cute little amusement park for young children. It is about 3 1/2 hours away in New Hampshire. We got there Thursday afternoon, spent the evening splashing around in our hotel's indoor water park. Gwen went down a full blown water slide once with me, and then insisted on doing it all by herself, we spent nearly an hour catching her at the bottom and then floating her to the stairs where she could climb up all by herself, and Liv went down a 3 story water slide all by herself too. It was fun to watch them be big. We all went to bed at 8:00 and then woke up at 6:30, and tried to busy ourselves until 9:00 when Story Land opened. Story land was perfect. There were tons of shows, rides, and activities just perfect for Liv and Gwen. They got to meet Mother Goose, The old woman that lives in the shoe, and CINDERELLA (A HUGE hit if you can imagine). The truth is, I don't know who had more fun....Liv, or Brad =0).
Mother Goose welcomed us into the park.
When we saw Cinderella, Liv went up to give her a hug and had this dreamy look on her face as if she was thinking, "I can't believe I am actually touching you, you're my best friend.....ahhhhhhh."
Cinderella's carriage
Bliss =0).
Humpty Dumpty
Liv's dreams came true when she was pulled up on stage to dance with Peter Pan, old MacDonald and a Murmaid
I love this series of pictures of Brad and Liv on the water ride. The look on Brad's face says it all.

This cute cow statue actually had utters you could really "milk"! Funny enough this was one of my favorite things at the park. It was impressively realistic =0).
The girls trying out baby bear's bed at the bears cottage.
Gwen was in heaven in this ball pit. I was surprised we were ever able to get her out of it. (It was the perfect activity during our bit of rain).
Proof that I was there.....Just before Brad hopped into the swan while Liv drove us around in circles on the pond.
Not pictured: A full on big tent circus where we saw a magician, clown, hool-a-hoop extraordinaire, performing cats, and a daredevil.

I'm actually tearing up (well, it all started when I read about Savannah, you'd think I'd have no tears left!) Story Land looks like so much fun! Now you can understand why we L-O-V-E taking out kids to Disney. To see them go on rides, see shows, and eat treats....it's so great! And we do have as much, if not more fun then them!!! I'm so happy you guys had a nice time!!
There are so many things we will miss about the East Coast, with Story Land and your family among the top!! We love New Hampshire and Maine and still consider our time with you guys to be one of our favorite New England experiences.
Oh, Diane, I loved having you guys up here in New England. Just knowing you were on this side of the U.S. made me feel a bit connected. Your visit was a highlight for us too!
Story Land looks so cute. And what a sweet post about little Savannah.
Story land looks dreamy! I want to go there. What a fun idea for a theme park.
