Change is a funny thing. It keeps life interesting, and it keeps me adjusting. Summer seemed to end all too quickly this year. When school comes around, my life changes drastically. It goes from being constantly busy and surrounded by kids and friends, to having lots of time to myself, time to get things done. I love almost everything (everything but grocery shopping with all of the kids!) about having the kids home, and making our own routine without the demands of school and activities. Now that school has started, I have all kinds of projects swimming around in my head. I really love doing projects. I love marking them off of my list, I love making things with my hands and I LOVE seeing things clean and organized. What I do not love is being alone all day while I do them. That is something that is going to take getting used to. Good thing I have Beckham (while he's not napping.)
What do you do to keep from getting lonely when school starts??

- Speaking of organized and clean- Today I tackled our garage. I forced myself to not get side tracked and completely finish the project today. Ah, it feels so great to see it clean, and cobweb free (Eventhough the rest of my house is a Mess)!
- Tonight we had a Family Home Evening lesson on counting our blessings and thinking about all of the good things that happen to us, instead of complaining about the frustrating/hard things. I guess we are already gearing up for Thanksgiving time. I'll start early by saying: I'm grateful for a clean garage and fires in our back yard, and for my comfy bed (that I'm going to go enjoy now). Good night =0).
