- This morning I was at the end of the driveway waiting for the bus with the girls. I checked Olivia's lunch just to make sure I thought she had enough food for the day. She asked what I was doing, and I told her. Then she said, "Mommy, you always pack WAY too much food." Gwen agreed. I laughed and told them I just want to make sure they aren't hungry during the day. Liv said, "Mommy, you worry too much," with a twinkle in her eye and a teasing smile. I agreed. This makes me smile because she's right. At a young age, she has figured out two things about me that are pretty much always true. I worry too much, and I always plan too much food. I'm glad we could laugh about it together =0).
- Brad and I make shakes all of the time. All different kinds. Fruit, vegetable (I'm very selective about my veggie shakes, but I can tolerate some), protein, yogurt, ice cream. All different, all of the time. The girls aren't crazy about most of them, but Beckham LOVES THEM! So much so that "Shake" is the first word out of his mouth every morning. BR had to stop making them for breakfast because, Beckham would wake up delirious to the sound of the blender, could hardly open his eyes but was clearly saying, "Shake, Shake, Shaaaaake Mama." Pretty funny. He can down 2 quarts of a shake he likes without even taking a breath. And I am not exaggerating!
- I went to pick the girls up from school yesterday because Olivia had Piano Lessons. Gwen bounded out the door, happy to see me, and then told me she doesn't want me to pick her up any more because she wants to take the bus home =0). People keep asking me how she is adjusting to Kindergarten. That story explains it. She started and she's never looked back. I'm glad she loves school so much.

A Mom's list
Meaning a list of stories maybe only the mom is interested in, but ones I want to "journal" none the less.

I love this list and can relate, the worrying too much, the little copycats, the growing up too fast.....
