Sharpening pencils

I have a drawer full of pencils that have needed to be sharpened for weeks now. I keep saving them for when Liv gets home, knowing that Liv would really enjoy the job, and then forgetting about them when she gets home. The other day, Gwen found them, and without asking, collected them all up and sharpened them all. When she was done, she was pleased to find that they made a cute little family of pencils. She brought them over to me, and we had fun playing with her pencil family together. Maybe I can learn from little Gwen, on how to find such joy in little things.
