After a day and a half in D.C., we headed off to Nashville, a 10+ hour drive, which turned out to be surprisingly easy. In fact, all of the driving turned out to be surprisingly easy. We got our little routine down and it went smoothly. I can truthfully say the girls didn't complain even one single time, and Beckham never got sick of his car seat. . . He just ate, looked around, slept, ate, slept, looked around, ate, etc. Our time in the car proved to be great family time, and actually one of the highlights of our trip. If anyone is planning a road trip with little kids, I would be happy to pass along some of our ideas.

Betsy!
It's been awhile. Your little boy I haven't seen since his newborn pics...such a cutie! It's looking more and more like Spokane for us is it. How long has your sister lived there? I would LOVE if you could send me her phone number. Email me sometime {jme.mitchell@yahoo}

I would love any ideas you have to share! We are moving back to Utah in the Fall for Grad School and have a 12 hour drive ahead of us. It should be fun!
