We spent a foggy morning picking some of these beauties. Our timing was perfect, because just as the fog was burning off, and the HEAT (insert steam here) came rolling in, our cars were rolling back home. We ran a quick errand and then headed off to the pool =0). Now my girls are napping peacefully, and I am off to do something with those strawberries. I will be hulling most of them for the freezer (future shakes), and saving a bit for strawberry short cake =0).....Ahhhh, fresh berries, the taste of summer =0).

This post made me miss Columbus SO MUCH! We used to pick strawberries at the two most fun farms and they were the BEST berries ever. The kids loved picking and looked forward to it every summer. *Sigh*
Miss this!! I don't know how many times Brad, Bridgette and I went strawberry picking over the summers! Mmmmm yummy.
