Grampy's Funeral
I wanted to document this experience because I thought it was neat. Just before the memorial service, we had a family gathering in one of the rooms just outside of the chapel. About 10 minutes before the funeral was to start, two people walked in that we did not recognize. The came in and introduced themselves. He was the missionary that had taught Grampy and Mimi about the church in 1952. He and his wife had flown in this past week from California and on Wednesday she went into a gas station to buy 2 Snickers bars. One for each of them. When she got inside she decided to buy a newspaper instead. When he was reading the newspaper later that day, he saw Grampy's obituary. It was so neat to meet him, and hear him tell us about his experience with Grampy and Mimi.
