1 reason why Gwen still seems like such a baby =0)
This morning we were watching some home video of Liv when she was 11 months old. Brad said, "I was just thinking, Liv is about the same age here, as Gwen is now." Well, Gwen is 16 months old now. This started a conversation about how Liv always seemed so much older than Gwen does. I made a comment about how it's because Gwen is our baby now, and I just love to pretend that she is still a baby even though she is growing up =0). So then, I remembered a list of Words I had written down in Liv's baby journal, I went and looked it up.....The following is a list of words that Gwen can say:
Hi
Da (Daddy)
Ma (Mamma)
di (here)
some rendition of Thank you.....that sounds something like shasha
Here is the list of words Liv could say when she was Gwen's age:

Ruby and May are exactly the same way. At 18 months when Ruby went into the Nursery, she could speak in sentences and tell you excactly how she felt/what she wanted. May, at 18 said about 5 words semi-clearly. I was kind of worried and talked to her doctor and was told this was normal for the second child. The first child does all the talking for the second. And that is SO TRUE in our house.
The eyes on both your babies are exquisite. Gorgeous, gorgeous children.
I think it is so fascinating to see different children excel in different ways. I notice this all the time with my kids. I try not to compare, but at the same time it's so fun to see them each do their "own thing."
And I understand about wanting the baby to be the baby. I am totally babying Lucas and want him to stay a baby for a long time! Sometimes I'm shocked at the things he is able to do, because in my mind he is still a newborn! They grow too fast!
It is so cool to look back on that. Wow I'm excited to see the differnces in children too. How fun to see the differences. I still don't want Lorelei to grow up.
