Snow Shoeing behind UMO
We finally got the chance to break in our snow shoes this weekend. We hitched Liv up to the pack mule (Brad), put Gwen inside my coat, and set off. We had a great time. Liv especially loved it. She alternated between lounging in the sled and dragging her mittens in the snow, gleefully throwing the snow into the air as she cheered "Yeah!", and eating the snow by the handful. We tried to keep our trek relatively short so that she wouldn't get bored, but when we came back she only wanted Brad to pull her around some more. So. . . . He did.

When we got back to our car, we kept asking Liv, "Are you cold" As she shivered, she would say. "Yes." Then we would say, "Do you want to get in the nice warm car?" and she would say, "No." She couldn't get enough. In order to get her in the car, we eventually had to promise her some nice Hot Chocolate when we got home.
Although Gwen slept the entire time we snowshoed, Here is a picture of her peeking out of my coat just before we left to go home.
