Miss Olivia Started school this week! She is a big preschooler now! I've been having REALLY mixed feelings about the whole thing because she will be gone from me for 3 hours a day 5 days a week! She has been my little buddy for so long, and I LOVE having her around. I've been so sad about the idea of her being away from me. She has now had 2 days of school, and I THINK it is going to be great. So far Gwen and I have run a bunch of errands, Brad and I have put up our swing set, and Liv has come home in a GREAT mood. When I have picked her up, both times she was running around playing with girls in her class, and smiling a BIG smile. She and I have walked home holding hands while she tells me all about her day. As of now, I feel much better about the whole idea of having her in school. Even though it is a time when she is away from me, I feel like it is an exciting new adventure that we get to go on together, because she gets to tell me all about it. After her first day we cuddled on the couch together while she told me about playing house, playing with blocks, and how she learned a new dance and song from her friend.A Few Fun Facts about Liv's School
- It is 2 blocks away from our house and we get to walk
- She was asleep when Brad left for work so we dropped by the office so she could see him before school started.
- Liv's teacher taught Brad in the second grade
- Liv told me that she wants her teacher and classmates to call her Olivia
- If Liv rides the bus in the winter time, she will have the same bus driver that Brad had all through grade school
- Brad took her to school this morning, On the way home after school, she told me all about how he took her a secret way, and promised she would show me later if I want her to =0).
Liv is probably most thrilled about her new school shoes.....She got to pick them out all by herself and they are fancy! {As a side note: At her physical, she informed me that her full name is Olivia Chandelier R**********....those of you who have read Fancy Nancy can appreciate that =0)}
This picture cracks me up. What a funny girl =0).

Big first days! So fun to see her growing up. She is adorable. Love her hair, outfit, shoes...totally know the fancy-nancy...too cute, those little girlies!!!
Same teacher/bus driver, really?!
She is so adorable! I just love all those cute poses. I'm so glad that she is loving school.
Oh, too cute! All of it.
She is SO BIG!
and I LOVE that she quotes Fancy Nancy. It's a fav at our house too.
I love the SASSY picture at the end!
Another rite of passage. 3 hours, 5 days a week...that is a big adjustment! I'm glad she likes to tell you about her day! How is Gwen holding up without her sister around?
I thought Gwen would be really upset, but she is actually fine. She had to get used to it earlier this summer because Liv plays a lot at our neighbor's house. At first Gwen would get really sad, but she is fine about it now. We are having fun together =0). It is amazing that a trip to the grocery store almost seems like a date now =0).
How sweet! The girls are so beautiful and Olivia Chandelier is so grown up! Little Gwen taking care of ducky-what a doll.
What a cute picture of Olivia on the first day of school. I can't believe you have a school age child already. It is funny that she has the same teacher and bus driver as Brad that is way cool. It is weird to get use to having them gone but it is actually nice too.
