Snow Day
We are having a "Snow Day" here in Maine. We have already gotten about 4 inches this morning. SO, we are slowing down life and staying home. So far, we have played house with Liv's bears, painted, made beds, vacuumed, colored, ridden bikes, and done the dishes. Oh, yeah....and this little experience-

Liv: Mommy, come look what Gwen is doing.
Me: Not right now sweatheart, I'll be there in a minute
Liv: Mommy, come look what Gwen is doing.
Me: Liv, how about you tell me what Gwen is doing.
Liv: Umm, She's trying to get out of our house.
Me: Well, that's ok. She's too little to get out by herself, how about you tell me when Gwen gets the door open.
Liv: Mommy, Gwen has the door open.
(A little Sceptical, I go and look into our entry) Sure enough there is Gwen with the door open, and about to walk out the door!

WHAT??? How in the world??? She's not even 18 months old. She just started walking 1 1/2 months ago, and just learned how to go down the stairs by herself 2 weeks ago! Gwen is this sweet, quiet, content little thing......I never would have ever guessed she was capable of opening the front door! It will definitely be locked from now on!

Here is a picture of one of Gwen's other new tricks. Giving Kisses to Liv's "Webskin" (Webkin), Webby. She is constantly walking up to me and leaning close to me, while saying "mmmmm" and then as she touches my face with her mouth, saying, "AAAH." What an angel =0).
