Wes Jordan Annual 5K race
Earlier this week, I vowed not to take any more pictures until the snow melted, but I had to break my commitment because---Today I ran my first 5k! We took the family up to University of Maine, along with Bridgette, Gary and Nora. Put the girls in strollers and went for it. It was actually really fun. My goal was to run the whole thing without stopping. I was so proud of myself for actually doing it! I left feeling very invigorated. When I got about 100 yards from the finish line, Brad, Gwen and Liv were by the side of the road cheering me on.(Even pushing the stroller, Brad beat me by 4 minutes) I really enjoyed the race, and forsee more races in my future. Especially since we won free movie tickets and a gift certificate to a local restaurant in the drawing afterward. As a side note, I also won a gift certificate to Borders this week in a drawing at the library. I guess my stars are aligned =0).

Bets-I must say, I am very impressed! Both with your over achieving seeds and with my awesome-achieving sister! Grant and I have this long standing goal to run a 5K and I guess now we have you all as inspiration. Love you all!
